About Sinnott School, Inc.
Sinnott
School is a non-profit school located in Weymouth.
Our mission it to provide free education to the unemployed and
economically disadvantaged members of our community and computer training
and placement program to individuals and corporations throughout New
England.
Sinnott
School is more than a business. It
is a unique marriage of private enterprise with social concern, of
meticulous professionalism with personal mentoring, and of the search for
excellence with the pursuit of self-fulfillment.
We are comprised of many hard-working staff members and students.
Since
opening in 1985, Sinnott School has enhanced the careers, and in many
cases changed the lives, of thousands of individuals. The success of our graduates is a testament of Sinnott
School’s unique and positive environment.
Among our achievements:

A
placement rate of over ninety percent for graduates of our Employment
and Training programs,

Selected
by an estimated 2,000 private companies to train over 100,000 of their
employees over the past fifteen years.

Initiated a program awarding
scholarships enabling non-college bound graduates of area high schools
to attend Sinnott School,

Implemented
internship program to partner more than 250 students with nearly 50
area businesses.
Many
of our graduates utilize Sinnott School as a stepping stone into exciting
careers. After securing a
career, many have also continued on with their education enrolling in
Associate and Bachelor’s degree programs; and some of the courses taken
at Sinnott School have been accepting as credits toward their degree.
Sinnott
School’s main philosophy is P.M.A. (Positive Mental Attitude).
We believe that with a positive attitude and the skills we provide,
