Our Professional Development Seminars will enhance business skills of dedicated
employees preparing them for the demands of the ever-changing workplace.

Speaking for Professionals
Session One: Scared Speechless
This is designed for the person with little or no
speaking experience or for the person who experiences a high level of
anxiety when speaking in front of a crowd. During this two-night
session, you will explore the communication process, learn coping skills
for speech anxiety, assess your personal communication apprehension, and
be equipped with the knowledge and confidence needed to be an effective
speaker. You will also prepare and deliver a speech that will be
recorded and evaluated by an instructor to aid in reaching your overall
goal as an effective speaker.
Dates: June 4 and 11
Time: 6:00-8:30 pm
Session Two: Technical
Presentations
This is designed for the person who has some experience
with public speaking. During this two-night session, you will be
introduced to persuasive techniques, speaking credibility, speech
structure, language style, audience analysis and adaptation, and methods
of delivery. You will prepare and deliver a speech that will be
recorded and evaluated to help build upon your technical speaking
process.
Dates: June 18 and 25
Time: 6:00-8:30 pm
The tuition for an individual to attend one session
(two evenings) is $395 or both sessions (four evenings) for $700.
Group rates are available for on-site classes with a minimum of 6 students
and a maximum of 12 per class.

Leadership
For New Managers
Designed for the dedicated business professional who has recently
assumed a leadership role. Objectives include:
